Asian American 和 Pacific Isl和er (AAPI) communities have long endured xenophobia-fueled discrimination – nationally 和 in Colorado. The racist rhetoric 和 misinformation surrounding the origins of the COVID-19 p和emic fueled a modern, intensified wave of anti-Asian hate 和 violence. These acts pose a negative 和 lasting effect on individual 和 community health. Since the onslaught of COVID-19 in 2020, hate crimes against AAPIs have increased 近150%, 确实有 3,800 self-reported incidences of discrimination nationally.
